Appliance Bliss »

Pew. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get appliances out here? I had to send for an iced tea maker from 30 miles away, lol. Nevermind that my stepdad had managed to ruin my rice cooker, wok, crock pot, toaster and coffee maker to mention only the appliances that come to mind. It’s going to take forever to replace them all, and I don’t have, say, Wal-Mart access so I end up having to make my purchases on the internet.

Actually, I don’t mind buying online so much, mail order has come leaps and bounds since the late 90s and you can get just about anything you can think of if you look hard enough, and I saw this great Cuisinart slow cooker at Wize.com for only $80, which is such a good deal for anything Cuisinart being that they’re so versatile and sturdy. And I just love the look of this one, it’s got handles, removable pot and easy to see controls which is nice because the last appliance I bought confused me, hehe.

Well, considering I’ve been paid today, I may go appliance shopping - wish me deals!

CROSSPOSTED FROM BEAUTIFUL SIN:

I’ve got my egg cooker thingie! It arrived today in the mail, and it’s bigger than I thought it would be, but I’m just in LOVE with it. It’s a little early birthday present to me. I love presents to myself, I always know just what I want, lol.

It’s got four mold/cooker shapes and it looks like it’ll be very easy to use, so hopefully I won’t screw it up ( lol ), on top of that the seller even wrote and printed out some English language instructions for me, wasn’t that awesome of them? I’m going to marry it. MARRY IT! I love it so much, I’m going to have eggs today even though I don’t particularly crave them, and you’re all invited to the wedding. As soon as I have some pics of the actual eggs, I’ll post all the pics I’ve taken so far with them - Giddy!
